Sony would intensify the use of Android

Sony wants in its future products to make more use of Google’s Android operating system. Sony says that chief executive Yoshihisa Ishida today during a presentation of Google TV.
“I think a lot about using Android in multiple consumer products,” Ishida said during the presentation in Japan. Although he never wants to let go of the specific products there are already rumors that Sony Ericsson is currently developing a mobile game console with Android 3.0.
Last week Sony unveiled its first Google TV products in New York. This was about four HD TVs and a stylish white set-top box with built-in Blu-ray player. Even at these TVs is an important role for Android and early 2011, the Special Market for these devices will be launched.
A European release of Google TV is scheduled for 2011.
