Phone No tethering with Windows 7

Brandon Watson, director for Microsoft’s Windows 7 Phone, said in an interview with TWiT reported that their new mobile operating system will not provide native support for tethering.

Watson said initially that the various telecom providers had to decide whether they want to go with Windows 7 Phone tethering, but not much wiped Microsoft later this option off the table. In an official statement shows the company will know that “Windows 7 Phone does not support tethering.”

Tethering is a feature that enables a device without an Internet connection, such as a laptop, via the phone still the internet to help. Something that many other devices, such as Samsung, HTC and Nokia, is still possible.
WP7 press conference

Microsoft today also confirms the rumors of a large Windows 7 Phone on October 11 press conference in New York. This conference will be followed in London and starts at 15.00 hours Dutch time. Microsoft is expected to announce here when the first Windows 7 Phone devices will be in stores.
