Navigon 70 Plus Review

Navigon 70 Plus New GPS along for the trip

For the latest GPS device from Navigon to test, I took it along on my journey through Denmark.

The first thing I did this Navigon was the voice off. The woman does not sound very natural and says “Beware!” if she thinks you’re speeding. Fortunately, you do not need her. The 5-inch screen is bright and informative.

I liked the bar that counts down to a split and Activity Assistant Lane, telling you if you are in any lane on a highway must sort. In dense urban centers, it is sometimes difficult to determine the exact street address, but the device is quick to recalculate your route if you make a wrong turn.

Still zoom
When you enter your destination, Navigon lets you choose from a variety of routes. Usually comes down to ‘Shortest route’ versus ‘Fastest route’. Do you really figure out how walking trails, then you have a long zoom. That works pretty slow zoom. For regular menus or touch screen responds smoothly.

For tourists, the Plus version some useful functions. He can steer you to the nearest car park or petrol stations, pharmacies and garages search. Even tourist attractions are preprogrammed, if they know enough. The current grave of a Viking king in a field in limbo, we must look on the map itself, because the nearest Navigon (tiny) village do not know.

Stability
Navigon main drawback of this is its instability. He manages to three times during my trip to crash. The Navigon 1970 Plus is ultimately a good companion, if you are the odd traits anymore.
