Given the many rumors Sat there for some time to come, and Motorola today was officially announced their droid unit 2 for the U.S. market. The successor to the highly successful droid.

Motorola’s Android will Droid 2 2.2 (Froyo) operate, has a 10.1 support Flash and will like its predecessor, a sliding QWERTY keyboard. This in addition to a 3.7-inch screen, a 5 megapixel camera, 8GB of memory and an included 8GB SD card again.

The first droid came well after the American release into Europe under the name Motorola Milestone. In Europe, this phone did not lead to the success to grow it in America. Whether these Droid 2 also comes our way is still unclear. Americans can already tomorrow with the device to work.
