MeeGo first devices from Nokia until 2011

Stephen Elop, CEO of phone maker Nokia, today announced that the first phones with the operating system until MeeGo by 2011. He made the statement during a conference call on the quarterly figures.
“The first MeeGo devices will be something for 2011,” the words of Elop. MeeGo is a new open source operating system which emerged from a long-term collaboration between Nokia and Intel. Nokia has previously stated that MeeGo on different phones and netbooks should be run.
It is expected that the launch of a Nokia N9 devices that Nokia is ready for this system. Nokia also recently announced a major update for the N900 which should start worrying about next Maemo 5, the new MeeGo 1.1 to run. It appears therefore that this update until the new year will appear.
Elop shows that he finally feels comfortable with the work that Nokia will deliver MeeGo. “MeeGo radiates not just confidence but also excitement,” said the CEO of Nokia.
