Medion notebook from Aldi launches premium

Computer manufacturer Medion launches tomorrow in conjunction with the supermarket Aldi Medion Akoya P6624. A premium laptop with stylish aluminum enclosure that is equipped with DirectX 11 and USB 3.0.

Medion Akoya P6624 has a powerful Intel Core i3-370M processor, 4GB of RAM (DDR3 Green), a 640GB hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce GT425M integrated DirectX 11 graphics card. By Optimus technology turns the notebook, depending on usage, between the powerful Nvidia graphics and energy-efficient Intel HD graphics.

Medion Akoya P6624 also has a 15.6-inch LED widescreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The P6624 is also watching mobile TV. Medion notebook delivers premium because of a DVB-T TV tuner and remote control. Because the laptop is equipped with the new USB 3.0 connection, data can be loaded much faster than USB 2.0 was.
Windows 7

There is a DVD burner, a multi-touch pad, 1.3-megapixel webcam, an 8-cell battery and several connectivity options. Medion Akoya P6624 comes with Windows 7 Home Premium, Microsoft Office 2010 and other software packages. The device is available starting tomorrow at all Dutch Aldi stores for 699 euros.
