The sound is’ out of the box a bit hollow, but with different EQ settings you put it in an instant right. You can also separately adjust the speakers so you can put the bass a little lower compared to the rest. This is handy for when you sleep with the neighbors at night do not want to disturb.

Instead of bass attenuation, the system applies a severe form of compression. The system is indeed very powerful, but real purists may be better to look more expensive solution. The low price you hear is mainly due to the lack of detail in the midrange.
